The Galvin Loimu Glacier watch review
Straight from Australia, we had the pleasure of reviewing the Loimu Glacier model by Galvin Watch Company. Behind this emerging brand is Susan Galvin, a talented Australian watchmaker. While we always enjoy supporting new microbrands and independent creators, we have an extra appreciation for female professionals in the watch industry – especially in a field where women are still underrepresented.
Watches of Italy goes suntanning
On May 10 and 11, 2025, the Palazzo del Turismo in the Adriatic town located next to beautiful Venice hosted the first edition of Watches of Jesolo (W.O.J.), an event dedicated to independent watchmaking, both Italian and international. With 29 exhibiting brands, the event was a significant showcase for microbrands, emerging manufacturers, and other key players in the Italian and global watchmaking industry.
