ABOUT CATALINA BRONZE
The Catalina Bronze Swiss Automatic 43 is long awaited successor to the Catalina Bronze Aeronautical Chronograph 41, introduced in 2020 and has been sold out since. Like its predecessor, the 2023 Catalina Bronze will be released as a limited edition timepiece. A total of 300 watches will be manufactured with a guilloche pattern in the dial, available in two colour options of 150 pieces each.
The new Catalina Bronze Swiss Automatic 43 bears the same resemblance as the predecessor. The bezel is made of solid bronze CuSn8 with raised, polished, numerals and stamped minute markers. Just like classic diver watches, the bezel rotates counter-clockwise in 120 steps and with a rough, easy to use, grip surface.
The keen-eyed observer will notice a more rounded and wider case than the original Catalina. The polished surfaces on the top side of the case, from the lugs and across the crown guards, creates a beautiful contrast to the otherwise satin brushed case. The 43 mm diameter case is proper and all round.
The purpose of the Catalina collection is to find the balance between elements of aviation
with the sea and create a watch made suited both in the air and on the waters – just like the amphibious Catalina.
