Description

NEW CORE DIVER FORDITE DIAL RELEASE – Type A – Bright and metallics. Multiple colors.

Own a piece of American history!

Fordite in this Core Diver, is a unique and rare material that is made out of thousands of layers of car paint from Detroit assembly plants layered over several decades in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

By the 1980s, car manufacturers moved away from the hand-spray painting method. They now use an electrostatic process that doesn’t produce Fordite.

Each dial is made of hand-cut Fordite making every dial a unique one-of-a-kind piece of American history!

The Core Diver Fordite has been designed to be the ultimate diving watch. Every single Ocean Crawler has been immersed in water and has been thoroughly tested to withstand pressures up to 2000 feet. The Core Diver is a must-have underwater accessory for water sports enthusiasts who scuba dive, spearfish, and even do ocean-bed exploration.

This special edition watch features an all Sapphire unidirectional rotating bezel which bears hour-markers filled with seven layers of Swiss C3 Lume. Powerful C3 Lume on the key elements guarantees perfect readability when deep diving.

The movement inside the Core Diver is a regulated Sellita SW200-1 movement. It has a beat rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour and has been enhanced for added accuracy.

There are only 100 units of the Core Divers with Fordite dials and all are stamped with a unique serial number out of a total of 100.

A Must-Have Underwater Accessory

Every single Core Diver has been immersed in water and has been thoroughly tested to withstand pressures much greater than those found under 2000 feet. This is why the Core Diver Fordite is your best friend for water sports, scuba diving, spearfishing, and even ocean-bed exploration.
